How do I sign up?

Click on each membership option above to learn the benefits you get with each package. No matter the decision, you have made a great choice! Welcome to Maven Makers! Let’s make something together!

How much is unlimited?

Unlimited equipment usage is granted to those who have been through all equipment training classes meaning they have access to all the equipment in the shop. We would like our members to limit their equipment usage to one hour per use per day, though. It’s a courtesy thing. If someone is waiting in line for that piece of equipment, please be considerate of others time in the same way you would want them to be considerate of yours. Otherwise it is first come first serve. If no one is in line behind you, then by all means finish what you are making! For those of our members who have leveled up to the Maven level we will grant two hours of use per day. For both regular members and Mavens, we ask that if you choose to reserve your equipment please do so at least 48 hours before you plan on using it.

Can I upgrade at a later date?

Of course! You want to make and learn more, huh? By all means! Please sign up for a longer stay with our maker community! You will need to wait until your current package ends, but once it does update here online or in the space! We are excited you are enjoying being a part of the community. Keep on making!

Can I opt-out of a membership?

You cannot opt-out of a membership package. You remain a member until the package you signed up for ends. To give an example, if you sign up for the 3 Month Membership, you will be obligated to pay upfront for those three months regardless of the time actually spent using the makerspace. In other words, if you decide after one month you would like to stop coming to the space, we cannot prorate your payment to just the one month of use. If in doubt, we recommend getting a monthly membership and paying for that membership a month at a time.

Do you autodraft my account?

The Monthly Membership will automatically bill your account each month. As a member we give you the convenience of knowing that your membership is active without having to remember to pay your bill every few weeks. To make sure you’re in full control we give every member the capability within your online account to cancel at anytime should you decide you no longer want to be a part of Maven Makers. To make it even MORE convenient we also give you the ability to place your membership on hold for up to one month! Going on vacation or have a major school project to work on and won’t be able to get into the shop for a few weeks? Not a problem! Just simply log into your account, set your membership on hold for up to one month, and you won’t be billed during that time. Once the month is up your bill will automatically continue so you can get right back to it!

If you purchase one of the pre-paid plans (1 year, 6 months, 3 months) then you will be given the option at the expiration of your membership to re-purchase a pre-paid plan or change over to a monthly membership.

Day passes do not autodraft your account.
